OK, OK. Maybe the whole world isn’t quite as excited as I am about this CBD infusion hack, but its been a game changer in my kitchen.

I’m very health conscious, so I try eat healthy fats in moderation, but I cannot express my extreme obsession with peanut butter. All kinds; almond butter, cashew butter, crunchy peanut butter, all natural peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, Justin’s brand peanut butter… you name it, I want it. My love for nut butters is so uncontrollable that I can not and will not keep ANY in my home. NONE.

So as a fully indulgent alternative to these nut butters I so much adore, I have become the number one, unofficial, unpaid sponsor of peanut butter alternatives. If you are unfamiliar with such a thing, I have just changed your life. See exhibit 1 & 2 for examples.

The Good Stuff

How these peanut butter substitute products are able to turn that delicious, fatty, oily peanut butter into a virtually fat free, dehydrated powder is by removing the fat and oils. To rehydrate these products, you simply add water.

So one late night, while I was writing CBD articles, the highdea (yes, high idea) went off in my head light a lightbulb! Why not add CBD oil into the PB Fit in order to gain back a bit of that decadent oil which makes peanut butter so rich?! BOOM!

I went into the kitchen and tested out this theory. The result was an oh so decadent, enhanced peanut butter snack, that now incorporated healthy fats WITH ALL THE BENEFITS OF CBD! It was better than the original thing!

If you are someone who isn’t so keen on the flavor of CBD oil, this is one of the most successful ways to mask the taste. I now have even more reasons to eat peanut butter. Muahahaha!

The Recipe

This is the ratio for when you go try it out:

  • 2 TBSP Peanut Butter Alternative
  • 1ml CBD Oil
  • Approx 1 TBSP water (add 1/2 TBSP at a time, mix, and achieve desired consistency)
